Shell and tube heat exchangers are one of the more popular types of heat exchangers. They have a cylindrical shell and utilize tubes made from thermally conductive materials. They are most effective for cooling or heating large volumes of process fluids and gases, such as in hydraulic, marine, rail, and industrial applications.

CMS
CMS shell and tube heat exchangers come in two types: single pass and two pass. Both of these products can be provided in accordance with ASME Sect. VIII, Sect. V, and Sect. IX of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, as well as TEMA, API, HEI, and 3A standards. Further customizations are also possible. They can be fabricated using a variety of materials including cupro-nickel, carbon, stainless steels, and nickel alloys.
Basco
Basco shell and tube heat exchangers can be acquired in a variety of standard and custom configurations. At Basco, they employ the use of cutting-edge software to rate and design their heat exchanger to meet the most stringent specifications. These heat exchangers can be made in a variety of designs including TEMA, HEI, extended surface, hairpin, and a variety of commercial standards according to your needs.
