On the other side, the heating process is reversed as the now-hot fluid circulates over to transfer its heat to cold vapour on the other side.
Plate Type
A plate heat exchanger is a device that is used for transferring heat from one fluid to another by means of a metal plate. A difference in temperature causes a pressure difference between the two fluids, which leads to a difference in density and thus creating a current of hot fluid on one side of the plate and cold fluid on the other. Plate heat exchangers are used in many industrial settings because they are efficient, competitively priced, and easy to maintain.
Special Tubular Type
Special tubular heat exchangers are pieces of equipment that allow for heat transfer through metal. These heat exchangers work by having hot fluid pass through the inside of a coiled tube of metal. The fluid then makes contact with a colder fluid, and the two fluids turn into vapour and liquid. The vapour then rises and collects at the top of the tube, and the liquid flows down to the bottom of the tube. The process keeps repeating, and the heat generated from one fluid is transferred to another.
